‘Retinal recovery after reattachment surgery: what has pneumatic retinopexy taught us?

Roxane’s primary area of research interest is retinal recovery after surgery, and she is Principal or Chief Investigator for 5 ongoing
clinical trials. She has co-authored 64 publications in the scientific literature to date. Clinically, her main interests encompass adult and paediatric vitreoretinal surgery, surgical management of aphakia, complex cataract surgery and the screening and treatment of retinopathy of prematurity. She currently holds the position of Honorary Secretary (British and Eire Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons), Vitreoretinal Section Editor (British Journal of Ophthalmology), Vitreoretinal Section Committee Member and FEBO-R Exam Liaison (EURETINA) and Council Member (Oxford Ophthalmological Congress).
