The Second annual Diabetic Retinopathy Screening workshop will take place on Thursday April 23rd 2015 at the Research & Learning Centre RVEEH from 1-5pm
The aim of the workshop is to help Ophthalmologists to become familiar with the screening programme and grading code. As with last year the historical basis for and key objectives of the Diabetic Retinopathy Screening (DRS) programme will be briefly outlined.
However, the main, and innovative element this year is the availability to participants of standardised test sets of images that will allow each participant to personally undertake grading, assisted and guided by experienced graders.
Because this is a “hands-on” workshop numbers are limited .
