CHI Professionalism Conference on Thursday 27 May 2021

Time: 1pm - 5pm 

Keynote speakers include world experts from the Mayo Clinic, USA; Royal Children’s Hospital, Australia; Scotland, England and Ireland.

Topics for discussion will include leadership, culture and organisational teamwork: lessons learned from the pandemic, an Australian perspective; the North American experience of assessing professionalism across the continuum; reducing and preventing moral injury; innovative approaches to improving professionalism, patient centred care and staff care; and the importance of professionalism in driving patient safety and quality care.

Abstract submissions on both clinical and non-clinical projects performed open to all staff across all disciplines.  Clinical and non-clinical projects related to communication, teamwork, patient centred care, quality improvement, evidence based healthcare, cultural sensitivity, professionalism, integrity and ethical based care may be submitted, in keeping with CHI’s definition of professionalism.
