November 9 & 10, 2012

The Certus Building, St Stephen's Green, Dubli

Retina 2012 is a unique Irish conference bringing together top international and Irish figures in the global effort to find treatments and cures for conditions causing blindness. The meeting has been organised for the past 12 years by the patient led charity Fighting Blindness as an opportunity for researchers and clinicians to learn from one another by sharing the latest developments and to form links and collaborations that will accelerate the global fight to cure blindness.

This year, the focus of the Scientific Programme, on Friday, November 9th, will be on genetic therapies, cell technologies and pharmaceutical interventions. Following the tremendous success of last year, the Retina Conference will once again include a Public Engagement day on Saturday, November 10th. This event is specifically designed for patients, family members and medical professionals with an interest in medical research to inform them about the work happening around the globe.
